Morning Prayer for Friday.

206. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen. In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ Who has redeemed us with His precious blood, I do now arise. May He defend me against all evil, and preserve my body and soul; granting me also whatsoever shall prosper and confirm me in all good, unto eternal life. Amen. (Seed-Grains of Prayer: A Manual for Evangelical Christians by William Loehe, Wartburg Publishing House, 1914, Page 355-356)

Morning Prayer for Thursday.

183. Lord, hear my prayer and let my cry come unto Thee. Hide not Thy face from me for I am poor and needy. Incline Thine ear unto me. When I cry unto Thee, hear me and answer me.

Under Thy good pleasure, O Lord Jesus Christ, I submit all that I do or leave undone, my beginnings and my endings, and commend unto Thee my body and soul, my kin and acquaintances, together with all my possessions. By the guardianship of Thy holy angels Thou hast this night protected me; and, I beseech Thee, condescend this day also to guard and defend me from all evil. Vouchsafe unto me and all my relatives and friends whatsoever we need unto the maintenance of this temporal life; and, as a merciful father, care for us. Save us from war and pestilence, from famine and from evil trials, and, at last, receive us into Thy eternal kingdom, the heavenly paradise. Amen. (Seed-Grains of Prayer: A Manual for Evangelical Christians by William Loehe, Wartburg Publishing House, 1914, Pages 321-322)

Morning Prayer for Wednesday

163. Sing unto the Lord a new song. Sing unto the Lord, O earth! Sing forth the honor of His Name.

Let day proclaim unto day the salvation of our God. O come, let us sing unto the Lord our God a new song. May He bless and preserve me,—The Father, Who created me, The Son, Who redeemed me, The Holy Ghost, Who sanctified me. Amen.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost, blessed and most holy Trinity, abide with me this day and at all times. Let me now, together with all the elect of God, arise unto one faith and one confession thereof in like confidence and hope of God. Let me arise from all my sin and sorrow to the grace and comfort of God and unto eternal life in Jesus Christ. Amen. (Seed-Grains of Prayer: A Manual for Evangelical Christians by William Loehe, Wartburg Publishing House, 1914, Pages 287-288)

Morning Prayer for Tuesday.

131. Hear, O Lord, the prayers of all who call upon Thee, according to the benediction of Aaron (Num. 6), upon Thy people, that all who dwell in the earth may acknowledge that Thou, Lord, art the everlasting God. (Sir. 36.) Let the people praise Thee, O God; let all the people praise Thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase. The Lord, our God shall bless us: the Lord shall bless us, and all the earth shall fear Him. Amen. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, I, a poor, miserable sinner, am about to rise in Thy name. Thou wast crucified and didst die for me, and with Thy precious blood didst redeem me upon the cross. Govern, sanctify, and defend me in body and soul, and strengthen me unto all good works. Be my defense against every evil, and after this life grant me the life eternal. Amen. (Seed-Grains of Prayer: A Manual for Evangelical Christians by William Loehe, Wartburg Publishing House, 1914, Pages 233-234)

Morning Prayer for Monday

105. God, be merciful unto us and bless us. Make Thy countenance to shine upon us that we may acknowledge Thy ways in all the earth. The Lord, our God, bless us. The Lord bless us and grant us peace. Amen.

O Holy and Ever Faithful God, Heavenly Father, most heartily do I praise, laud, and magnify Thee, that Thou hast granted me to rest and sleep in safety during the night now past, and hast caused me to awake refreshed and in good health, through Thy Fatherly love. Most heartily do I beseech Thee, graciously to defend me and all believing Christians, this day and through all the days, against all harm and danger in body and soul, that I may always yield unto Thy will. Into Thy care and guidance I commend myself, body, soul, heart, mind, will, and thought, and all my purposes, my walks and ways, my rising up and my lying down, my coming in and my going out, my life and death, and all that I am or have. Let Thy holy angel have charge concerning me, to defend me from all harm in body and soul. I ask it for Jesus Christ, Thy dear Son’s sake. Amen. (Seed-Grains of Prayer: A Manual for Evangelical Christians by William Loehe, Wartburg Publishing House, 1914, Pages 181-182)

Morning Prayer for Sunday.

62. Behold, He that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord preserve me from all evil: the Lord preserve my soul. The Lord preserve my going out and coming in forevermore. The Lord bless me and keep me: the Lord make His face to shine upon me and be gracious unto me: the Lord lift up His countenance upon me and grant me peace. Amen.

O, ever blessed Trinity, unto Thy grace I commend my all this day,—this Sunday,—my body and soul, my walks and ways, and all my deeds and undertakings; and beseech Thee to open my heart and my lips rightly to praise Thy name,—holy above every other name. Since Thou hast created me unto the glory of Thy holy name, let me so live that I may honor and serve Thee in love and fear. Amen. (Seed-Grains of Prayer: A Manual for Evangelical Christians by William Loehe, Wartburg Publishing House, 1914, Pages 97-98)

R: And given Him a name which is above every name.
O GOD, Who hast made the name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, most dear to Thy faithful people, and most terrible to the evil spirits: Grant, we beseech Thee, that all we who worship This name on earth, may receive in this life the sweetness of Thy holy consolations, and in the world to come, the joys of exaltation, and of eternal blessedness in heaven; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord, Who liveth and reigneth with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen. (Oremus, 1925, p.162).

Part IV of the LITANY OF THE MOST HOLY NAME OF JESUS

V: I will praise the name of God,
R: And I will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
O LORD, JESUS CHRIST, Who hast said: Ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you: Grant to us now asking, we beseech Thee, the true affection of Thy most holy name, that we may love Thee with our whole heart, mouth and in all our work, and never cease from Thy praise; Who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen. (Oremus, 1925, p.161-162).

Part III of V of the LITANY OF THE MOST HOLY NAME OF JESUS

R: From this time forth and for evermore.
O LORD, make us to have equally a perpetual fear and love of Thy holy name, because Thou never leavest those destitute of Thy governance, whom Thou hast founded in the steadfastness of Thy love; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.  (Oremus, 1925, p.161-162).

Part II of V of the LITANY OF THE MOST HOLY NAME OF JESUS

Be merciful, Spare us, 0 Jesus. Be merciful, Hear us, 0 Jesus.
From all evil, From all sin, From Thy wrath, From the snares of the devil, From everlasting death: Deliver us, O Jesus. Through the mystery of Thy incarnation, Through Thy nativity, Through Thy infancy, Through Thy most holy life, Through Thy woes, Through Thy agony and passion Through Thy cross and languor, Through Thy death and burial, Through Thy resurrection, Through Thy ascension, Through Thy joys, Through Thy glory: Deliver us, o Jesus.
O Lamb of God, that takest away the sin of the world; Have mercy upon us.
O Lamb of God, that takest away the sin of the world; Have mercy upon us.
O Lamb of God, that takest away the sin of the world; Grant us Thy peace.
O Jesus, hear us. O Jesus, hear us.
LORD, have mercy upon us. Christ, have mercy upon us. Lord, have mercy upon us.
OUR Father, Who art in Heaven…
