Repentance. 3

O CHRIST, Son of the Living God, Whose beauty in Thy Passion departed for very heaviness and has worn away because of all Thine enemies: Heal the wounds of our hearts, that Thy grace being confirmed in us, we may so put our trust in Thy Passion as to find our glory in Thy Resurrection : Who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen. (Oremus, 1925, p.60).

Thanksgiving for Heard Prayer. 1

O GOD, Whose mercy is limitless, Who art an inexhaustible Fount of blessings:  We give Thy Majesty praise and thanksgiving for all the gifts which Thou hast bestowed upon us; and we beseech Thy mercy, that, from those whose prayer Thou hast granted Thou wilt not in the future withhold Thy help; but make them fit to the attaining of the Future Blessing; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. Amen.   (Oremus, 1925, p.64).
