O LORD MOST HIGH, Who beholdest the lowly, grant us lowliness that we may please Thee, nor suffer pride to remain within us, which Thou throwest afar off and destroyest when near: that, of Thy mercy, the haughtiness which casteth down may depart from our mind, and contrition which bringeth glory may abide in our heart; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
