105. God, be merciful unto us and bless us. Make Thy countenance to shine upon us that we may acknowledge Thy ways in all the earth. The Lord, our God, bless us. The Lord bless us and grant us peace. Amen.
O Holy and Ever Faithful God, Heavenly Father, most heartily do I praise, laud, and magnify Thee, that Thou hast granted me to rest and sleep in safety during the night now past, and hast caused me to awake refreshed and in good health, through Thy Fatherly love. Most heartily do I beseech Thee, graciously to defend me and all believing Christians, this day and through all the days, against all harm and danger in body and soul, that I may always yield unto Thy will. Into Thy care and guidance I commend myself, body, soul, heart, mind, will, and thought, and all my purposes, my walks and ways, my rising up and my lying down, my coming in and my going out, my life and death, and all that I am or have. Let Thy holy angel have charge concerning me, to defend me from all harm in body and soul. I ask it for Jesus Christ, Thy dear Son’s sake. Amen.
