On Wednesday nights, Trinity Lutheran Church(Herrin, IL) offers to both children and adults an opportunity for teaching with Learn-by-Heart at 6:30 PM and a catechetical service at 7:00.
In this video from July 11, 2018, we learned stanza 5-6 of “Your Table I Approach” (Lutheran Worship, #249), the 4th and 5th commandments and their meanings from Luther’s Small Catechism. This service is designed to prepare God’s people for the theme of the upcoming Sunday Divine Service. The dialog sermon explains Jesus’ feeding of the 4,000 (St. Mark 8:1-9), which is the Holy Gospel for the Seventh Sunday after Trinity.
