On Wednesday nights, Trinity Lutheran Church(Herrin, IL) offers to both children and adults an opportunity for teaching with Learn-by-Heart at 6:30 PM and a catechetical service at 7:00 PM.

In this video from October 21, 2020, we learned stanza 6 “Sun of My Soul, O Savior Dear” (Lutheran Worship, #488, The Lutheran Hymnal #551), , the first petition of the Lord’s Prayer and meaning from Luther’s Small Catechism and 2 Thessalonians 2:13b-14.  This service is designed to prepare God’s people for the theme of the upcoming Sunday Divine Service.  The dialog sermon explains Jesus’ teaching on the marriage feast (St. Matthew 22:1-14), which is the Holy Gospel for the Twentieth Sunday after Trinity.
