O LORD Jesus Christ, Who art the eternal wisdom of the Father: We beseech Thee to assist, with Thy heavenly grace, the good learning and godly discipline of our children, that in all and above all things they may attain the knowledge of Thee, Whom to know is life eternal; and that, according to the example of Thy holy childhood, as they grow in years they may grow in wisdom, and in favor with God and man; who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. LET the sorrows and woes of Thy suffering Church come before Thee, O Lord Jesus Christ, and as Thou hast promised to be with her always, even unto the end of the world, hallow the trials by Thy loving, strengthening presence and strengthen her to endure affliction faithfully, enable her to carry her cross after Thee and to be faithful even unto death that she may come to the glory which Thou wilt reveal, where Thou livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. ALMIGHTY God, our Heavenly Father, Who dost feed the birds and clothe the flowers, and carest for us as a father for his children: We beseech Thee, graciously guard us against distrust and vain over-carefulness, and help us, through Thy Holy Spirit, to live to the hallowing of Thy name, the coming of Thy Kingdom and the doing of Thy will, so that we may cast all our care on Thee and in unwavering faith abide trustingly in Thee; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. GRANT, O Lord, that Thy servants, devoted to Thy service, and confiding in Thy protection, may obtain the blessing which they humbly implore; that being at rest under Thy defense, they may not be left destitute of assistance for this life, and may be prepared for the good things which are eternal; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. O LORD, we beseech Thee, graciously receive our prayers and supplications which we bring before Thee with thanksgiving, and grant that we, whom Thou in grace hast heard, may be genuinely thankful to Thee, praise and magnify Thy holy name and ever increase in Thy love and service; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. ALMIGHTY and everlasting God, Whom the heaven of heavens cannot contain, yet Who art willing to have an house fashioned by man, wherein Thine honor dwelleth and where men may worship Thee: Of Thy love and mercy, we beseech Thee, vouchsafe Thy presence here that this Church which we have reared to the glory of Thy name, may by Thee be accepted and hallowed, to the end that souls may here be gathered, nourished in Thy love, and made fruitful in Thy service; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end. O THOU Who art great and highly to be praised: Spread abroad the faith of Thy Church into all realms, to the end, that as in all its degrees Thou art acknowledged to be GOD, Thou mayest also be praised in the united devotion of her members; receive of Thy mercy, her prayers, and in the midst of the tempests of this world, be Thou her watchful Pilot, so that we may by Thy mercy enter that City which Thou hast founded for ever and ever, and may be received therein, and may tell within its towers Thy marvelous works; through Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord, who livest and reignest with the Father and the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
